Kim Manson

What do you do at Kaw Prairie?
Kim is responsible for the overall assessment, development, and improvement of the Family and Student Ministries (Birth-12th grade) at Kaw Prairie. She's eager to support ministry staff and leaders, engage volunteers new and old, and lead kids and students to build better ministries and relationships while advancing the church’s mission to change more and more lives with Jesus’ love.

Why do you love your job?
I am passionate about my job and thank God for the opportunity to do daily work that not only makes a difference in the lives of people, but ultimately His Kingdom! I love seeing parents/caregivers take steps toward being the faith leader for their children. I am excited when kids and students see God's work in their lives and take steps to further their relationship with Jesus. I am an educator by trade and love being able to utilize those skills in this position.

What do you do at Kaw Prairie? I build teams and lead worship here on Sunday mornings

Why do you love your job? My job gives me the opportunity to connect with people on a deeper level. It allows me to have a platform where I can be vulnerable and hopefully inspire others.

What do you do at Kaw Prairie?
Sandy is now responsible for the overall assessment, development, and implementation of the Birth-PreK and Childcare ministries at KP. She works with staff, other leaders, and volunteers to create and ensure an environment where children know the love of Jesus and receive practical and age-appropriate ways to live out their faith in Him—on Sunday mornings and throughout the week!

Why do you love your job?
I love helping preschoolers explore the bible and enjoy a relationship with God.

What do you do at Kaw Prairie?
Carisa has steadily grown in responsibility since arriving in 2020. She now serving as the staff’s leader in ministry project management, ministry leader support, building facilities, rental management, and—with all her extra time—administrative support!

Why do you love your job?
It gives me joy to provide opportunities to serve and bless others. It's rewarding to plan events that help people and organizations in our community thrive.
